Project introduction
In Afghanistan, due to over 20 years of war, landmine damage, customary intermarriage, and other congenital and acquired factors, the number of people with disabilities is estimated to be in the hundreds of thousands, including school-aged children with disabilities. It is said that there are 200,000 people. It is estimated that three-quarters of these children do not attend school, and many children with disabilities who attend regular schools do not receive appropriate instruction, leading to them failing grades or dropping out of school. In order to improve this situation, this cooperation will develop a syllabus and textbook (6 subjects, 16 credits) in the field of visual and hearing impairments, with the aim of expanding and improving special needs Education lectures at teacher training schools. , trained master trainers, and conducted network building activities.
